Meet Jason Lake

Single in Lebanon, Indiana and Love Dogs? Meet Jason Lake

I’m a professional dog trainer in Medford, Oregon, open to meeting the right person beyond my local area. If you call Lebanon home, here is a more personal introduction.

A Real Introduction for Someone in Lebanon, Indiana

If you are single in Lebanon, Indiana, love dogs, and are tired of profiles that never say much about the person behind them, this page is my more direct introduction.

My everyday life is rooted in Southern Oregon. I run a professional dog-training business, spend a lot of time working dogs, and compete in Schutzhund/IGP. I also enjoy photography, music, road trips, good conversation, and the kind of humor that makes an ordinary day memorable.

Why I’m Open to Meeting Someone from Lebanon

The Midwest is a real distance from Southern Oregon, so I would never pretend logistics do not matter. I simply do not think distance should make the decision before two people even have a conversation.

I would rather have one conversation that feels natural than fifty conversations that never move past small talk. For me, the point of meeting online is to discover whether there is enough substance to meet in real life.

What Life With a Professional Dog Trainer Actually Looks Like

Dog Training and Schutzhund/IGP Are Part of the Package

Dogs are not a side hobby for me. Training is my profession, dog sport gives me goals to chase, and the people I train with are part of my community. A relationship with me does not require you to become a dog trainer, but liking dogs—and being comfortable with the fact that they are a major part of my life—would make things a lot easier.

Photography, Road Trips, Music and Everyday Adventures

I like a life that has projects and stories in it. Sometimes that means taking photos, sometimes it means driving somewhere new, and sometimes it is just music playing while I work on the next idea. I do not need constant excitement; I do want someone who is curious, engaged, and willing to make plans instead of always talking about them.

I would rather hear about Lebanon from you

I do not want to pretend I know Lebanon better than someone who actually lives there. If we started talking, I would rather learn the city through your experience than recycle a list of tourist attractions.

The first things I would probably ask

  • What is your favorite way to spend a day off in Lebanon?
  • Is there a dog-friendly place you return to again and again?
  • What is one road trip or day trip from home you never get tired of?

The Kind of Relationship I Hope to Build

Consistency matters more than a perfect profile

Nobody is perfect and I am not looking for a checklist. I care more about whether someone communicates clearly, follows through, can laugh, and wants a relationship that becomes stronger through everyday life instead of only special occasions.

I am looking for something genuine and long-term, but I do not believe the first conversation has to carry the weight of the future. The first step is simply finding out whether talking feels easy and whether we are both interested enough to keep going.

Single in Lebanon and Curious? Start With a Conversation

If you are in Lebanon, Indiana, love dogs, and something here feels familiar, use the contact page and tell me a little about yourself. You do not need a clever opening line. Tell me where you are from, what your life looks like, and what made you decide to reach out.

Want more context first? Read more about me and then decide whether you would like to say hello.

Competition & Life With Dogs

Dog trainer. Competitor. Real person.

I’m based in Medford, Oregon. If you’re in Lebanon, this page is an invitation to start a real conversation—not a claim that I live in your city.
